Full Radius Dance: A professional dance company whose leadership has extensive experience teaching people with and without a broad range of both physical and mental disabilities. In addition to performances, their company offers dance classes and workshops, often in partnership with other organizations. Located in Atlanta.
DanceAbility at the Georgia Ballet: A class offered twice a week for children ages 6-13 with physical and/or developmental disabilities that make other ballet classes hard for them. Located in Marietta.
Lekotek of Georgia: An organization that offers a broad range of music, recreation, and learning programs, including a program specifically for children with disabilities and their families. The program involves music and dance. Located in Atlanta, Alpharetta, Gainesville, Peachtree City, and Cobb.
Lynndale, Inc.: An organization that provides recreational opportunities for adults with disabilities, some of which include exercise classes, a Valentine’s dance, choir, etc. Located in Augusta.
The Atlanta Dance Academy (TADA): An academy that offers dance classes for all skill levels, including specific classes for people with disabilities. Located in Atlanta.
