A $3.75 Million Settlement was recently approved for a child with mild cerebral palsy, mental retardation & developmental delays. Detroit birth injury attorneys Jesse M. Reiter and Juliana Sabatini Plastiras said the child suffered brain damage at birth. The drug Cytotec was used to induce labor and neither the mom or baby responded well. Had the doctors performed the C-section earlier, the baby's brain damage could have been prevented, explained Jesse Reiter. The child will need lifelong care as a result.
